West End Improvements

Background

Our Parish Church is one of the glories of this town. A historic focus for town's people, visitors and a centre of worship since the fourteenth century. The tower houses a peel of eight bells, amongst the finest in North Bucks, and a carillon which plays fourteen tunes.

As with all historic buildings, there is a need to enhance and improve facilities whilst preserving the essential character.

After much discussion and consultation, plans have been developed to best meet the needs of the community for years to come.

Proposals

lterations to the North Porch to provide disabled access, improved lighting and a new interior door.

Improvements to the tower to provide a kitchen area and disabled toilet facilities.

Installation of an oak screen and ringing platform to blend in with the existing character of the interior.

Cost

The cost has been estimated at £100,000 of which £50,000 has already been generously donated.
