Janice VenablesFrom PamelaDear Friends at St Mary's, St John's and St Mary's Hampton Poyle, Thank you so much for the book token you gave me. I will really enjoy spending it and more importantly reading the books I purchase. I would also like to thank you all for the support, love and prayers you have given me over the twenty eight years I have been worshipping at St Mary's. They have meant a great deal to me especially over the last three years when I have been training as an ordinand. While I will now be a curate at The Church of the Holy Family in Blackbird Leys I know that St Mary's will always remain a spiritual home for me. Once again thank you. With love Pamela.Harvest ThanksTHANK YOU to everyone who helped to decorate our churches last weekend for the Harvest Festival. They looked very beautiful. It is not a holiday home or really suitable for children but is available for people who want to go somewhere different for a rest or a break. You will need to go without some modern accoutrements - no electricity. The cuil or house is two hundred yards from Loch Shiel and 8 miles from the village of Acharacle and about forty-two miles from Fort William. Walks are good in all directions, with woods and hills behind the house and the loch in front. I do pay rent for the house so do accept offerings to help cover costs if you want to borrow the house.
