ADVENT OF THE REAL WORLD
Looking for material for prayer,
reflection, discussion and action during Advent? I have a few copies
of the Diocese of Oxford's resource Advent of the Real World to give
away. It has 4 scripturally-inspired sections: Seeing, Waiting, Loving
and Choosing. Each section includes a meditative reflection, a
think-piece, and stories to inspire discussion and action, and there
are suggestions for your personal Advent giving. The accompanying
booklet, Praying through Advent has a prayer for each day of December,
written and compiled by the social action team of the Oxford
Diocese. I will be using material from the booklet in the Wednesday
Evening Prayer sessions at St John's - 7pm on Dec 6, 13, and
20. Contact me if you would like a copy. Hilary
