THE CHURCH: What's On? - Notices - Services and Worship - Home Groups
There is a Holy Communion service at 8.00am each Sunday morning, and this will follow the Lectionary from the Book of Common Prayer.

The main Sunday service is at 10.00am. The service is either designed for children to be included, or a crèche and a Sunday Club are provided.  Our Cafe Church service on the Second Sunday every month is at 9.30am & repeated at 11.00am.  It is a very informal, family friendly service, around tables, with plenty of time for coffee and chat!

Our Sunday evening service at 6.00pm is a more reflective service with in-depth teaching and often time for open prayer.

 Midweek Discipleship Groups
Some Discipleship groups
meet during the day and others in the evening. If you are not currently in a group and would like to join one, contact the office or fill out a card on the welcome table and leave it in the box.

Children are  welcome to stay in the service and there are toybags at the back of the church.  There is a Creche in the St John's Rooms for children under 3, and Sunday Club in the Hall and Rooms for those aged 3 and over.   Children usually come into the service with their parents and then leave for Sunday Club after the second hymn.

Songs, Hymns and Music

We have a group of around 25 people who are regularly involved with music during the Sunday services. We have several singers, and use choral pieces and arrangements on some occasions; we also have instrumentalists including pianists, guitarists, bass players and an organist. We use a wide variety of musical styles to reflect the variety of tastes within our church family; we regularly use both modern songs, traditional hymns, and recent songs from Soul Survivor.
Our aim in all the music we use is to allow God to draw people into Himself. We pray that He will use our skills and abilities to enrich the worship of His people here at Grove.
If you wish to get involved, please contact Bev Aldridge.
