The present  tower was built in 1784-1786 in the Renaissance style, and
contains eight bells detailed in the table below.
The Bell Tower.
Clare, Ron, Jayne, Malcolm, Bernard and Ian.
The bells are rung regularly by a very enthusiastic and friendly group. They are always looking for new members - please contact Richard White (Tower Captain) on 01993 812424 for details
More recently in 1991 the bells were  tuned and re-hung at a lower level
Originally there were three bells; a treble added in 1662 and a tenor in 1666.
In 1708  the five bells were recast to six.
