Among the graves in our churchyard is that of Sir Winston Churchill and his wife, Clementine. It was Sir Winston's wish to be buried in a corner of this country churchyard, near his birthplace at Blenheim Palace. After his magnificent State funeral in Westminster Abbey he was brought to Bladon to be buried with his ancestors.
