Introduction
The Church in Abingdon is a Local Ecumenical Partnership, which celebrated its tenth anniversary at Pentecost 1998. The LEP formalises growing understanding between the Christian Churches in Abingdon, which has developed over a long period of time. The LEP reflects a measure of mutual understanding, support and co-operation that goes well beyond what is found in most communities.
