Description Listen Again
Michael Ramsden: "Life is too short to be thin." Why do we find it so hard to share our faith? And why are some Christians so excited they can't stop telling people about it? Bishop of Reading, Stephen Cottrell: "I'm useless - how can I be thankful?" Technical: From May 4th 2008 the talks are available for download in iPod-ready MP3 format. Talks in the Archive section or the four sample talks listed above are stored in the very compact Windows Media Audio (WMA) format.

Listen Again now: if you click on any "Listen Again" icon then your computer is most likely to begin playing the audio after a few seconds. Be aware that variable Internet conditions may cause interruptions in playback.

Download for later listening: if you want to download and save the audio file to listen to later, then right-click the "Listen Again" icon next to the talk you want, then select the [Save Target As ...] option on the pop-up menu. Files average between 3 and 6MB in size, and typically run for between 20 and 40 minutes.

Apple Mac and i-Pod users: this MacWorld article from March 2005 (opens in a new window) provides a number of links to options that will allow you to either play WMA files directly on your Mac, or convert them into an iPod-compatible MP3 file. Please note that CCLF has no connection with MacWorld or the suppliers mentioned therein, and has not tested any of the offerings.
