The Sunday services are divided
into an opening section for all ages, then part-way through
the children leave for their own special groups. The remainer
of the service is directed at over-eighteens, helping us to
understand the Bible and its relevance to our lives as adults
with adult responsibilities.
Outside Sunday worship there are a range
of activities and events that take place in cooperation with
Christ Church in Northcourt Road. If you think you are looking
for God, if you know you've found Him and want to know more,
or you're looking more deeply into what God has done since
time began, there will be something happening that is just
right for you.
Alpha
courses: what is Christianity anyway, how can we justify
its claims, how can we be sure it's right for us.
Christianity
Explored: follow-up to Alpha looking at the gospel
of Mark, a richer understanding based on a growing faith,
a direction for living.
Small
groups: are hosted in their own homes by people who
have been Christians for a long time and are a local way to
share Christian living and explore the Bible together. If
you think you'd like to know more about home groups, have
a look at our Small
Groups page.
Learning
materials: Christ Church has a library of books from
which you can borrow - ask the Administrator.
If you would like to buy your own study material, you may
like to start with Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB)who produce
the Alpha videos we use, and a range of other materials. To
