Alpha Course
The Alpha Course - the safe place to ask hard questions

Alpha is for everyone! It provides a chance to learn more about Christianity, to ask and discuss questions we might not have had the chance to ask before, and to get to know each other better.

If you aren't sure if you want to try it, then why not ask people who have been on it and get a first-hand reaction?

Missed this course? Please let one of the Leadership Team know if you would like to come along to the next one. The more people who ask, the sooner we can run one!

Structurally, Alpha is a ten-week course which runs once a week in the evening, and includes a meal. There is also one special away-day focusing on the work of the Holy Spirit, which takes place on a Saturday.

The Programme: Wednesdays except where noted
  1: Who is Jesus?
  2: Why did Jesus die?
3: How can I be sure of my faith?
4: How and why should I pray?
5: Why and how should I read the Bible?
6: How does God guide us?
(Saturday) Holy Spirit Day: Who is the Holy Spirit? What does the Holy Spirit do? How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?
7: How can I resist evil?
  8: Should we tell others?
  9: Does God heal today?
  10: What about the Church?
